Healthcare

Good health is a fundamental right, yet access to basic healthcare remains a challenge for many low-income families in urban slums and rural areas of Raipur. The Healthcare Program by Sahaar Welfare Foundation is designed to bridge this gap by offering free, accessible, and preventive health services to underserved communities.

We believe that a healthy society is the foundation of a productive and empowered nation. Through our community-focused initiatives, we strive to improve health outcomes, raise awareness, and support vulnerable groups like women, children, and the elderly.

Key Highlights of Our Healthcare Initiatives:

Free Health Camps

Regular general health check-up camps are conducted with the support of volunteer doctors, providing consultations, basic treatments, and medicines at no cost.

Maternal & Child Health Support

Special focus is given to pregnant women, lactating mothers, and children under five—offering check-ups, iron/calcium supplements, immunization support, and nutrition guidance.

Sanitary Pad Distribution & Menstrual Hygiene Education

We promote dignity and health among adolescent girls and women through menstrual health management sessions and distribution of sanitary pads.

Elderly Health Support

Free check-ups, blood pressure and sugar monitoring, and distribution of necessary medication for senior citizens form a vital part of our healthcare outreach.

Awareness & Education Sessions

Sessions on hygiene, sanitation, menstrual health, nutrition, disease prevention (like dengue, malaria, TB), and mental wellness are conducted in schools and communities.
